What’s a workflow?

A workflow describes both a stack of software (and hardware) and the methods of using it. For example, my stack might be:

• Canon Vixia HF100 camcorder
• The Gimp
• BlenderAVC

The method of using it might be:

• Configure HF100 camcorder in 24p/cinema mode
• Record footage
• Pull raw .MTS files directly to hard drive
• Run BlenderAVC to create .AVS scripts and proxy files
• Begin editing footage in Blender

Of course, our documented workflows will be much more detailed.
